Scientist Leaving USA

What is Scientist Leaving USA?

Scientists Leaving USA tracks named researchers who've left U.S. universities and labs for roles abroad — mostly China, but also Canada, France, and elsewhere. Each entry documents their field, education, and career history, plus why they left: funding cuts, visa uncertainty, or targeted recruitment programs. Sourced from news coverage, university announcements, and primary interviews, the database is a running record of the ongoing talent outflow reshaping global science.
