Darth Grader

What is Darth Grader?

Darth Grader is a climbing grade calculator that estimates the difficulty of a sport climbing route by breaking it down into individual sections of climbing separated by rests. The climber records each section from the ground to the anchor, including every movement, to produce an overall grade estimate for the route. Sections can include both route-climbing and bouldering sequences, allowing the calculator to account for variations in difficulty throughout the climb.
