AI Wattch

What is AI Wattch?

Every AI prompt consumes energy. Most people have no idea how much. AI Wattch is a free, open-source browser extension that tracks the energy consumption, carbon emissions, and water usage of your ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini conversations — in real time, as you type. Co-Developed by Antarctica and IT Climate Ed, and built on Antarctica's One-Token Methodology, it translates your AI activity into clear, actionable data: energy used, carbon emitted, and efficiency per model and session.
