ChacharApp is a free, open-source voice dictation app for macOS — a private, on-device alternative to Wispr Flow. Hold a key, speak, and your words appear in any app. Everything runs locally on the Apple Neural Engine (in every Mac since the M1, 2020), so your voice and conversations never leave your device: no cloud, no tracking, no accounts, no weekly limits. With no network round-trip it stays fast, and you can enrich it with your own custom vocabulary — jargon, names, technical terms.
