什麼是 Kilim Rugs？

A kilim is a flatwoven rug - made without pile. Unlike hand-knotted or tufted rugs, kilims are woven on a loom using a technique where weft threads are passed through the warp and beaten down tightly, with the pattern created by the interplay of coloured weft threads. The result is a reversible, relatively thin rug with a distinctive graphic quality.
