It gives AI tools like Cursor and Claude Desktop persistent, repo-aware memory — storing conventions, bug fixes, reviewer patterns, and decisions in a local SQLite database. Tools included: update_memory, pin_memory, unpin_memory, and summarize_repo_context. No cloud. No account. Just run npx -y fossel init and you're live in 30s.
