The album's creation was partly inspired by the trio's 2015 musical collaboration with flamenco artists Dorantes and Carles Benavent This experience shaped their interpretations of timeless flamenco pieces and original compositions on the album, which the group themselves described as "the best album Taksim Trio could ever record".
